2. Collection and storage of personal data when visiting this website

When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically stores information in server log files (IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser type and version, operating system and referrer URL). This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and maintain system security (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is not combined with other data sources.

3. Contacting us

When you contact us by email or through the contact form, we process the information you provide (name, email address and the content of your enquiry) to handle your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). The data is deleted once it is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected, unless statutory retention requirements apply.

4. Cookies, language selection and tracking

This website uses no tracking cookies or analytics tools and loads no content from third-party CDNs. All fonts and scripts are served locally from the same server.

On entry through a language-neutral address, our server uses your IP address and a locally stored country database to choose the initial language. Germany, Austria and Switzerland are assigned German; other or unknown locations are assigned English. Your IP address is not sent to the database provider. We do not store a separate location profile. This helps us deliver the appropriate language version (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

When you use the language switch, we store your explicit preference in the functional cookie ws_language for 90 days. It contains only de or en, is not used for tracking and takes priority over automatic language selection. You can change your choice at any time using the switch or delete the cookie in your browser. Direct links to a German or English page always open that language.

5. Recipients and transfers to third countries

Your personal data is shared with third parties only where necessary to fulfil a contract or meet a legal obligation. No transfer to third countries takes place.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18), data portability (Article 20) and objection to processing (Article 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR).

7. Data security

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption for security. This prevents third parties from reading data during transmission.
